Record Cover Design

The selection of covers below were produced when I worked as an inhouse designer at Warner Music. They were created in the traditional manner; on a drawing board and with typesetting. Creativity was a much more collaborative process between designers, photographers, repro houses and printers with any additional ‘clever’ image manipulation achieved with detailed instructions to repro houses and printers. Designing has come on a long way with computerisation, allowing for easy image manipulation and endless creative variation with immediate visual gratification.
